Another day, another doodle with some Sharpie pens on a random piece of sample book paper. I will do a more fleshed out piece tomorrow, but it's 4:30 in the morning, so I gotta get my butt to bed.

Day 183: More Sharpie Doodles
Another day, another doodle with some Sharpie pens on a random piece of sample book paper. I will do a more fleshed out piece tomorrow, but it's 4:30 in the morning, so I gotta get my butt to bed.

Day 182: I'm back, baby!
Annnd I'm back! I got a pack of Sharpie pens from the back to school section of Target and I really wanted to test them out, so I used an old sample paper book from work that was going to be recycled, and made a little self portrait-style doodle.
It's been really hard to get back into my old routine of doing a doodle or something every night along with my food reviews and nightly workout. I was doing so well with everything, but right before Otakon I got overwhelmed and it all just fell apart. I'm really disappointed in myself, but I'm picking up right where I left off, so let's see if I can still make it to 365 different doodles. I also want to start using my tablet again. I haven't picked that up in a while... oh well, it's nearly 4AM on a work night, so I better get to bed. Tomorrow is another day!

Day 127: Tiny Furry Babies
I decided I had to show my other 4-legged furry friends some love. I tend to prefer little dogs, since I can easily pick them up.
I'm not one of those people who dressed their pet up and puts them in a purse or anything, I just like the idea of easily being able to pick them up and get them out of danger, or easily take them to the vet if they can't move. I don't have much upper body strength, so medium-to-small dogs are ideal for me. Don't get me wrong, I love big dogs too, but I have this lingering fear of them needing help and having to be carried and being unable to do it myself. I'd never forgive myself if I couldn't help my furry babies in need.

Day 117: I'm being LAZY
I did a pretty much finished piece yesterday, so I totally slacked off today. Here's a random doodle I just did in my sketchbook with Sharpie Pen. My new favorite drawing tool. Also, I have this strange obsession with barrettes pinning hair behind ears. I do it to my own hair and it always makes me look like a child. I don't think I'm doing it right.

Day 113: Don't worry sketchbook, I still love you.
A 3 minute sharpie pen sketch in my sketchbook for tonight. It's late and I'm really sleepy, and I knew I could whip out something really fast, but I'm also not giving up on traditional sketchbook stuff. Sure, I love my new tablet, but I still love sketching with a physical pen on paper too. And my styles on both are so different! It's so weird, but fun.

Day 56: Kinda Me
Another kinda-self portrait. I wear my hair up nearly all the time now, which is odd, because before college I always wore it down. I think I got into the habit to keep it out of the way while I painted, but now I like having my hair pinned back with like 30 bobby pins all the time. I've been trying to wear it down more often, but I never really do anything with it. I suck at styling hair. Thankfully it's naturally curly, so it looks like some effort was always put into it, when really, I just rolled out of bed.
